fairly certain that I would hate ALL of my pictures because I am always so self conscious and terrible about picking out ALL of my flaws. But now, I am soooo glad that I did it. I don’t even recognize the girl in those pictures. When I saw them, I said to myself “wow I’m a badass who knew” because I overcame my fears and did something that I NEVER thought I would and have pictures to prove it. Plus, this is one of the few times in my life that I really felt beautiful and confident in my body

Lately I’ve been quiet in most aspects of my life and my business. Honestly, the last few months have been crazy, exhausting, and somewhat hard. I’m coming off a Lupus flare and I also haven’t really felt like I had much to say. But today I woke up and decided that I do, so here it goes…
…you are enough. Whatever you think you are lacking- you’re not. Whoever you are comparing yourself to- just stop. Whatever you feel like you need to “fix” to be seen- you don’t. Stop comparing yourself to others. Stop hiding yourself because someone once made you feel small. I tell my two boys this all the time- this world would be such a boring place if we all looked the same, talked the same, and thought the same. Who you are is special and there will never be another you. Ever. What you bring to the table is something that nobody else can. Remember that. Stop feeling guilty for loving yourself and for becoming the best version of you possible. The ones who were meant to be with you for the long run will be, the ones who aren’t won’t be. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Stop putting things off, stop waiting for the perfect time because time is the only thing we will never have enough of. You were meant for beautiful and amazing things and it’s time you start to believe that.
