Paige and Michael got married on a brisk and beautiful October Saturday at the Olive Branch Country Club in Olive Branch, MS. I’m so happy to have been a part of it.
I met Paige and Michael this past spring shortly after they were engaged. They were in the midst of planning an October wedding a few short months away and were looking for someone to capture their day. I am so glad it was me! Shortly after we met we traveled to the Natchez Trace Parkway to hike some waterfalls and have a killer engagement session. Michael proposed to Paige at some waterfalls a few hours east of Memphis, so it was the perfect setting for their engagement shoot. They love the outdoors, going on adventures, and exploring the world together.
Paige is a woman after my own heart. She had not one, not two, but three pairs of shoes for her wedding day! Shoes for the ceremony, photo shoes, and some dancing boots! She actually ended up barefoot most of the evening and I was a little sad that those beautiful shoes weren’t worn!
Michael had contacted me prior to the wedding day and told me that he was having a huge bouquet of flowers delivered to Paige as a surprise. So we planned the moment for it to happen and made sure I was there to get her reaction. I’m not sure exactly what he wrote in that letter, but his heartfelt words has his future wife in tears.
To Have And To Hold
Paige was walked down the aisle by both her father and stepfather. As they each linked arms with her and walked her towards the man of her dreams I caught a glimpse of Michael’s reaction. He was standing next to his oldest daughter, Savannah, and both of them were teary eyed. It was the sweetest thing and I knew that day that their little family would be complete.
The couple met one night when they were both out dancing, so it would only be fitting that they’d be dancing the night away at their wedding. Michael spun his wife around the floor and the smiles that radiated from them were echoed by their ecstatic guests. The couple ended the night surrounded by their friends and families as they marched (and then ran!) through sparklers and cheers of celebration.
