The last few months have been a complete blur to say the least. I don’t think I’ve ever traveled or driven so much in my life. We finally landed in North Carolina after 6 weeks of being homeless. We left Memphis the first week of December and moved our entire lives to a storage unit in NC. We spent some time with my in laws in Louisiana and I went completely off the grid during December. I forgot what it’s like to live in a place with no cell phone signal. We also took the first week of 2021 to recharge and unwind and spent it at Disney with some amazing friends. This move has been super hard on my oldest son, so being able to watch him have fun and laugh with some of his favorite people was much needed and time well spent.

Back To Business

Our house in Swansboro isn’t ready yet, we still have a few weeks before we are able to close and move in. The anxiety of it all is making me a bit nutty, but I know it’ll all be over soon. Until then we are shacked up in an airbnb in North Topsail! Nothing like the sound of the ocean to calm your nerves, right? So even though I’m not in my studio yet, I’m opening my books for new clients. I’ve had a few inquiries about sessions before Valentine’s Day and I decided that I’d open for business and hold sessions at the Hilton Suites in Jacksonville until I get in my studio.

So there you have it, my last 3 months in a nutshell. It’s been hectic and at times we seriously questioned our decision making skills, but it’s almost over and we couldn’t be more excited. I hope you guys have missed me as much as I’ve missed you! I’m so ready to get back behind the camera and help you realize what a total badass you are!
