Brittany and Trevor were married on a quiet, rainy Friday afternoon in Memphis, TN. Close family and friends witnessed the unwavering love between them, I was so lucky to be a part of it!
Earlier this year I met with Brittany and Trevor to discuss their hopes and plans for their big day. We customized an engagement session to be held at Shelby Forest. When the day came we braved the cold and rainy weather to get some beautiful, intimate, rustic images for them. We decorated the forest with lanterns and the two snuggled under a blanket to stay warm.
The two met online and Trevor moved to Memphis to be with Brittany. You don’t have to know them to realize how in love they are. Just stand about 10 feet away from them and silently observe the way they interact. They have a quiet and steadfast love filled with sweet embraces, soft laughter, and side smiles every few minutes.
When their wedding day came Memphis was being hit by some hard rains. The couple moved their ceremony inside at Noah’s Event Venue underneath a wooden arbor decorated with flowers. It turned out beautifully as natural light flooded through the sliding glass doors. They had lanterns lining the aisles and white rose petals decorating the floor.
Close family and friends anxiously waited for Brittany to make her appearance. I saw lots of smiles and tears as she emerged and walked down the aisle with her father. Her soon to be husband couldn’t take his eyes off of her! The two pledged their love for each other and headed for a reception at Texas de Brazil in downtown Memphis.
Day After Photos
The one thing Brittany really wanted on her wedding day were sunset photos, but unfortunately the rain kept us from doing those. We decided to meet on Sunday evening to capture some beautiful images for the two. I mean, how many times are you going to wear your wedding dress in your life? You should get the images that you want! We ended up in a field on the outskirts of the city and shot until the light rays disappeared. The results were breathtaking.
Congratulations to you two, I’m so excited for your happily ever after!
